Select Your Ideal Competitive Set
At MICE Daily, we empower venues to select their own competitive set (compset) for benchmarking, ensuring that comparisons are tailored to your needs. Whether you choose to compare based on location, classification, size, or venue type, the choice is entirely yours. A compset can include a minimum of three and a maximum of eight venues, with specific thresholds to protect data privacy.
If your compset includes three locations, no two venues can belong to the same brand, chain, operator, or owner. In such cases, the minimum size of the compset increases to five. This rule ensures that at least three venues in any compset are independently operated, protecting data anonymity. MICE Daily also performs thorough isolation checks to ensure that no individual venue's data can be traced back, safeguarding the confidentiality of all participating locations.
